A great shame MSW withdrew this kit. I guess it just wasnt selling in sufficient numbers.

This is my version of the model. The middle of the 3 pictures is my favourite.

Devon Fisheries sent me a couple of pics but they are on my old pc.

Oops! Sorry forgot to add my Drumbeat also runs on 6v and the geared MFA motors. These motors are noisy with the gearboxes. However, another MFA geared motor I have for the Envoy tug is very quiet in comparison.

Although these motors and battery appear to give a scale speed, its not that quick. Im intending upping the voltage to 12v SLA or 9.6v on an Nimh pack.

Hi HHB,

I live in Brixham, so could wander down and get a few fresh pics, she was out in the bay Saturday, while I was walking the hounds. Let me know, no trouble, give me an excuse to get away from the missus >>:-(...besidess there are a few good pubs down the town.

Yep. I've used grain of wheat bulbs on the mast and LEDs as navigation lights.

This is my wiring diagram some drew up for me. I was going to have deck lights instead of the white metal fittings but these problematical so didnt fit them in the end. That's why the diagram has so many lights compared to the model!
