Component-Shop were going to be at the Southern Model Air Show. Unfortunately today we were informed by the organisers that they did not receive the completed paperwork! I am really not happy about this, but as the space we had been promised was rented to someone else last week & no more space is available, there is nothing that can be done. Problem is that we have received a number of orders from people to be collected at the show & do not have full contact details for everyone. So anyone who asked us to take bits to the show for them please get in touch & we will happily send them on to you carriage free.
Its not my intention to use the forum to winge, simply to try to contact those who we promised to see at the show as I really don't like letting people down. Just contact us via e-mail, or give us a call on 0843 2898528 (office hours)
Enjoy the show  :((

I hope the current list on the web site is not accurate... as some of the traders seem to have dropped out.

Hi everyone,

I have taken and assembled the pool today at the Hop Farm.

Good news for this year, the pool is being filled from the mains so it is nice and crystal clear.

Cakes are being cooked tomorrow and Friday. So we are well on our way.

We will be posting smell a vision on here tomorrow, so that you can all have a wiff of the cakes.

See you all at the weekend.

regards

Can I come with just one boat on Sunday as I don't belong to a club currently?

What time does the show start on Sunday - can't find this on website.

Yep it was very good... I was very surprised as to the amount of boat stuff.... Wing'n'Wheels this year was a complete waste of time, for the model boater.

Is Warwick worth the trip from South London?

Hi Everyone,
Thank you to all the clubs and fellow Mayhemers for attending the show. If it wasn't for your attendance the Marine section of this show would not have taken off the way it has.
This year we are pleased to say the Marine section was bigger than ever before.
Thankyou very much to all of the boat traders that attended, you also make the show what it is.
This year we had cystal clear water, so it was absolutely fabulous to watch the submarines travelling around the pond.
Thankyou to Phil,Paul, Kim and all the other lifeboat enthusiasts for putting on four absolutely fabulous model lifeboat displays. Well done guys.
What a fabulous variety of boats on the pool this year.
Thankyou to Bruce from Wat Tyler for helping break down the pool and we hope he got home alright and that his feet were not too wet.
Once again a big thankyou to everybody who made this weekend what it was. Brilliant!!!
Same time next year everyone???
Kindest regards Debbie and Alan

agree with Guy,

I counted at least 12 model boat clubs and quite a few model boat traders
very large crowds but as I left early did not get into a traffic jam when all leaving.

hope Beale Park Oct will have model boat traders and clubs

Tall Paul.
