how do u keep your tug dry
« on: December 30, 2006, 03:47:49 pm »

hi all i am sitting hear watching the rain keeping me away from our sailing at e port wondering wot all of u do to keep the wet stuff out of your boat. as i only sail tugs with a very low freeboard its a must to have a water tight rear hatch. i use closed cell sticky back foam cut to about 1mm thick 10mm wide. with the hatch screwed down with stainless steel screws and it works pretty well dont u think

Hi Steve,  I might keep the portgarth hull my self
and fit some  Z peller drives in her, got some on the bench,
Bow thruster as well. that's got them thinking what next.

Hi Steve, Cutting the tugs down I'm selling the AZIZ  it's too good
to be with the towing tugs.

      John              POLL

Ps    Eric and my self have been to the pond today make some
alterations to the walk way,we have put some chicking mesh
down so when boys bring there sheep onto the walkway
the droppings will go through the mesh so WE will not slip.
