Hi, just wondering if general public will be able to sail, or will it be members only?

Thanks

Hi Russ we can unload right next to the lake no prob's. We just ask if you can park your car just across the road after unloading so other people can unload as they arrive :-))

I know what you mean about heavy I have the arun & severn to do my weekly work-out with :}

See you there.

Good weather, and very busy, with loads of boats to see on and off the water :-)

Thanks,

HI Robert.

Yes it was a success for our first ever show @ Hoylake the powers that be were very pleased with how it turned out, I dont think any of us thought it was going to go so well. Plenty of nice boats as you say.

It was good finely putting faces to names from the forums

So thanks to all you guys that came down and helped us with a great day. :-))

The atlantic 21 is now going better than i expected that was it's first time out after having a new motor and battery fitted well happy with the results :}

Ill post some pics when i get hold of some, dont know what happened to my camera i took loads of pics but none came out :((

Once again thank you for your support.

Mark.

Oops!

One of the key advantages of a purpose built boating pool....

RECOVERY!

My usual lurking sorry, sailing place are natural waters with, how shall I put this, indeterminate depths....

Anywho... Thanks again Mark for a good day out at Hoylake.

More pics please!

Great photos - the truck brigade looks pretty interesting as well.
The pond - is that saltwater or fresh? My 93 year old Mother in Law grey up there with a few rellies still there actually, she was telling me yesterday of the a pond there years ago that was saltwater from the sea via some weir of sorts. This looks fairly modern. I'll bring her up to date later!
Thanks, mike

My understanding, is that it is fresh water, but due to it's VERY close proximity to the sea, it can get 'diluted' during storms.

Or....

I could be wrong.... (perish the thought!  :})
