Model Boats in BASINGSTOKE??

Basingstoke Model Boat Club?
Does anyone on this Forum use the "pond" AKA Boating Lake in Basingstoke?
Do they meet anywhere?

hello there i use the lake from time to time as family live 2 seconds walk away.

meets are on a either a thursday afternoon or your best bet is sundays between 9 and ends around 12 when everyone tends to go home
peg board in place so people dont get muddled up on the lake, generally there a nice lot and willing to provide helpful info if asked.

thats okay i was hoping to get up there today but weather put me off.

will be on the lake next sunday for best part of the day with either my Schutze, Severn or fast electric.

confirmed this afternoon i shall be on the lake in basingstoke
will have both my Severn and Schutze on sunday

need to get some video footage while im up there. ;D

weather persists on raining for the best part of the weekend but that wont stop me sailing.
going to be a good chance to see how my severn performs with the trim tabs up rather then down.

shall be on the lake ealry as possible.

i shall be on the lake this sunday if anyone fancys a sail, not going to have my Schutze on the water but will be testing out my new set-up in my fast electric.

fingers crossed i wont have to go for a swim. ;D
