VINTAGE TRACTORS/MACHINERY

i'm going to the world ploughing championships this weekend and rumour has it there will be 1,000 vintage tractors and vintage machinery on display. anyone want to see photos. if not i wont bother taking my camera

Take your camera....should be very interesting....most of us 'boaters' are vintage anyway. We have a world champion ploughman living in Powys... :-))

well its taken a while but i think i have the pixresizer sorted.  unfortunately i couldnt get info on all the machines but here is what i did get:  case tractor is a 1929 CASE 25-45, a MASSEY HARRIS JUNIOR, a pair of 1951 FORDSON MAJOR'S coupled together, a 1/4 scale marshall thresher and a 1/4 scale JD BALER both of which actually thresh and bale.

Thank you for the photographs, I enjoy old machinery,particularly working models...trust you enjoyed the competition...ploughing etc,.
I'm looking forward to our local 'vintage' shows, 'Shrewsbury' hold one of the best local to myself, thanks again....mick
