The cost for camping is £10 per unit per night, this does need to be paid in advance with a credit/debit card, our camping field is officially closed until 1st June, but if you are booking with the Model boating club we will take a booking for this date.

Park open at 10:30AM
Public allowed by the lake but were going to cordon off one side of the lake Mayheme rs / Modellers and the other side viewing public.
Public that want to 'have a go' will be "invited" in - we'll put some sort of notice up to that effect.

Booked the caravan in today with Wicksteed, so will be arriving Friday and leaving Monday bring 17-21 with me for a play so see you all there, will have the R.N.L.I. flag flying on the caravan.

I intend on coming as a member but not staying overnight just on the sunday . Do I need any sort of pass ?Or just turn up and blag my way in

The "The Park itself is open from Sunrise until Sunset throughout the year". but the rides and stuff are open 10:30 - 4:30

finally swapped my saturday shift so i am all booked in now for both days..., got my tent packed and camping is all booked and paid for - trophy is built and all ready to go

(got to put the wife and kids in the roof box ontop of the car so the boat can fit across the back seat) but will see you there on sat around lunchtime !

I shall be coming Martin. I'm working like mad to finish Red Pelican (formerly AZIZ). Can I have a parking voucher please.
Also, my wife would come along if the DOG was allowed in the grounds. I have scoured the Wickstead site and do not know if they are permitted at all. Can you help.
Not sure wether to stay overnight. The 'Comfort Inn' was mentioned. Can anyone say wether they allow dogs? (not me, you understand, but my little whippet)

Thank you Martin for the voucher. I've taken two copies for the weekend in case they charge me twice for parking.

Regarding the 'Comfort Inn, can any one please point me to their web site, so that I may book Saturday night. Don't want to miss the Ging Gang Gooly, and their might be pint in it.

I still have further work ( self created) on the boat as, I have scratched her bottom and have been re-sanding and spraying ( ooh er !!). All this for rushing to get her finished, and I haven't even started the 'Springer'

My booking is costing £55 B&B. I chose this hotel as it seems to be within walking distance of Wicksteed - about a mile. Don't want to have to drive back in the evening.
