Virtual Regatta - 8th Leg

Hi Chaps
The race is open for you to set your course for the start which has been announced for
2.00 am BST (3.00 am Paris Time) Wed 21st !!!!!!!!!!

So who's keen enough to stay up  O0 %) %) >>:-(

The tricky little  nice people at Virtual Regatta have just announced that you can't set your course before the start  >>:-( >>:-( >>:-(
If you aren't there, you will be stuck with the pilot boat (probably going in the wrong direction again) until you take over!
So it looks like I'm staying up a bit late tonight  <:( <:( <:(

I set mine last night, and tonight it had been reset to 220 deg!
I assume they are going to reset again at the start  >>:-(

Yes All shore leave cancelled starts on the 15th , courses can be set after 10pm

This leg isn't yachting - it's drag racing.
Just about everyone and their granny who has pro-sails are in front of us, and no danger of us sneaking in some crafty tactics to make up the difference!
Oh well, a couple more days ...

Sorry chaps, bit late now, but the leg started at 6.00pm UK today (Sat)
Only 6000 miles, so we should be able to organise some shut-eye this time.
The start was a usual Many Players fiasco, in that it was late and then the updates didn't happen for the first half hour, but what's new??  It seems to have settled down now...

Good luck to all Mayhemmers.
