After I spent a lot of time fiddling with sails on the couple of footy's I have built I found that if I made sails
similar to those for the Original Kittiwake that they seemed to work well on home built boats, I use thin shower
curtain material for the first couple I made, but these days I make them from Drawing Film, from the local drawing
supply shop.
Tried things like the simple skif rigs etc, but still came back to main sail and and jib
