What is it?
« on: April 27, 2010, 04:07:17 pm »

Found this in my shed. I remember building for my son, in the January of 1978. It was supposed to have a small IC engine but got a 540 size Electric instead. No Radio at first, but was up graded a couple of years later.Hence long Afterdeck. Went quite well if I remember. Prop shaft out now as it rusted solid. Toying with the idea of a rebuild, a modern 400 would be Ok I think, what say you? Is it an Aerokits Model? Interest for Collector??

Not an Aerokits as far as I can tell. Most vintage specialists would like to have the dimensions - length at least - to check against old catalogues....

It's an "Osprey"  :-))

Should be about 19" long & was a kit supplied by Nor-Star Products, Rackheath, Norwich.

Hope this helps

Mark.
