On May 22nd and 23rd there is going to be an exhibition to bring to the fore the part that Thames tugs played in the Historic evacuation of Dunkirk and the surrounding areas,
about 50 tugs attended or worked in the south coast ports during this time, we would like to bring this to the attention of the general public.
So we are putting on a display of Pictures, information and Models of some of the tugs that were there,
any help with further information or models would be appreciated.
so far we have models of:- The Contest,Challenge,Crested Cock, Ocean Cock. Simla, Tanga, Fabia,Lady Brassey, Sun XV, SunXI,and Racia.

There is also the opportunity to go aboard and look around the last Empire Tug afloat in the UK The CERVIA Ex Empire Raymond at present moored in Ramsgate harbour.
