Sorry for a dumbo question but...whats the sticky backed plastic stuff called I see many model yachts use to cover the hatch cut-outs?  And once I know the name of it, where do I get it from?

Hi David
Fablon is o:k, but you need to keep a check on it, as I found it gets brittle, and splits easy.
you can get the proper stuff,Self adhesive Dacron from any of the model retailers, eg. sailetc, ken Binks, HouseMartin sails, these patch can be removed and replaced several times, before they need to be renewed.
