Warrior FSR-O...
« on: May 09, 2010, 03:07:10 pm »

After a lengthy two sessions playing with the Warrior, it's good to race...

The cost so far is 4 Turbo head glowplugs and half a gallon of fuel. Running a CMB CS21 in this old Warrior circuit boat.

The first video is just getting there with the needle, still a bit to iron out. The second video is a little richer at the top end within a gnats' doodah of being tuned, and the last video is with the engine tuned. Since the last video I've changed out from an Ocutura 455 two blade prop to a 455 triple. Sorted out the twitchyness and gave a little more speed.

Please note that despite their best efforts to swim in the way, none of the ducks in the videos got touched. They're a real problem at Stevenage, they're about as thick as most of the Stevenage population >:-o

Thanks go to Ian Searle for selling me a good engine, and Greg Sadler for once again being setup man...

Anyway, enjoy...

Yep, a proper MRH (Model Racing Hulls) moulded by Graham Pollard with authorisation from Georgio Merlotti himself. I lived just over the road from GP when I was first married, 'er indoors used to complain that I spent more time with him than I did with her.
