Finished with the weathering and also completed the triming of the boat! Hopefully sometime this week I'll do some proper sea trials! Here is some pictures and videos!

Hi bassplayer1
I really love the weathering  :-)) What have you used to stop it being washed off in the water?
Dave:)

Thank you very much Marius!!!

Dave, I didn't use anything to seal it simply because it's just Humbrol paints! I didn't use any pastels or powders! Thank you for your kind words!

Did some trials in salt water and I'm quite pleased with it! Only needs some extra weight! Couldn't take any pictures in action as I was on my own! I'll do that tomorow, weather permiting, with my son after he finishes school.
 Geoff, any idea where that place is? :}

A wonderful model.

I was watching the video of it diving in the test tank and it occurred to me that, if it were not for the background, it would be really hard for me to tell if was a video of a model or a full-size submarine. Really impressive work.

Blimey thats impressive now.  The tank noises etc make it sound like a dockyard!  its almost frightening!

Yannis you really have done a splendid job - congratulations.
I could just make out my old berth in the background of one of the vids - wish I still had the boat out there now

Hi Yannis you should get it right with just a bit of "tweeking" and it will look
very impressive if you can launch the torpedoes from the tubes.
I wondered what you had been up to since you finished Amphitrite - do you have other
plans as well??
