Academy 1/350 Bismarck

I'm planning on buying this model.
I know it's a cheap copy of the old motorized Tamiya one, but without the hardware.
What I'd like to know is what do I need to make up the propshafts ?
I've got the other bits and pieces for the RC side of it.
Any advice would be most helpful, and I'm sure some of you have done this conversion !
(there's quite a few video's of it on You Tube !)

                                           Thanks     John

You can either buy a couple of shafts and props from Cornwall Model Boats, they do some which ideal for plastic conversions, or you can use 1/16" brass wire with brass tube to suit and utilise the kit props.

In my Revell Titanic I used brass rod/tube and kit props, same with my Tamiya USS Missouri, the Tamiya Enterprise carrier I used CMB shafts in. I've almost finished the Italeri Landing Craft and that has brass rod/tube with the kit props as well.

Both work well, so it's down to your own personal choice.
