Ain't global economies a wonderful thing?  The next thing will be a complaint about a lack of response from a vendor. {-)

FLJ, I sympathise, I got a call from Hong Kong at 4:30am once:
ring , ring.. etc, bleary eyed and slightly panicked, pick up house phone ...Voice on other end : "herro, is that Sheerrine modewl"?
Er .. er yes??  "Is it possibwle you can send me a blochure for boats and do you ship Hong Kong"?
Erm yes I can and I do but can you possibly telephone when I am awake at this end, I am in bed right now, it's night time here.
"Oh I am reary solly, I didn't rearise, I will phone you in day time"..........click.

Never heard from him again but a month later I did sell a boat to Hong Kong... maybe he was embarrassed and got a friend to call on his behalf.
It pays to be polite at all times, I reckoned "f88k 88f, you just woke me up" would not have got me that sale.

Apologies for any Chinese fellows looking at this but I wrote it as it sounded, I actually love the accent so am in no way mocking it.

I have to admit, it was in the early days of my business and I got dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century by getting an answerphone  8).Now it's the computer and that don't ring in the wee small hours.
I seem to always end up in the workshop no matter what day of the year and sometimes at the most ungodly hours if I'm trying to get something out of the door the next day... "a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do" and whatever it takes to do it, I will do. I have seen ridiculous times on my workshop clock here... 2am..3am and once or twice even later than that. I try to avoid this kind of thing these days as I'm a bit of an old git now, well getting I'm slowly getting there anyway but still there are the odd times.
We are doin our best men!!
