Hi, I am planning to buy the Graupner kit of the Otto Lauffer Steam Launch. I would like to buy the recommended Graupner Steam Engine IST-L. The only comment I managed to find on the internet is by someone who said it is a good design but its quality or finishing can be improved.

Anyone out there has experience with this steam engine and can shed further light on whether this is a good engine to buy?

Hi, thanks for the interesting videos. I am still hoping that someone out there has owned and operated this particular Graupner steam engine before and can comment on its design and built quality. About to order it and hoping that it is a good buy. Regards.
