Here is a picture (recent condition) of my steam engine which was especially designed to drive a picket boat. To be honest it is not exactly determined yet about the prototype (i.e. the boat).

Hi ya there Engineman - is this a fifty pence piece in Russia ??? - I noticed the Stephenson's reversing link eccentric cam as well.   This is a true credit to your craftsmanship mate.

Hi BLUEBIRD, hi RATS

Many thanks for your compliments mates.
Yep, it is 50p coin not in Russia for sure but it was found in my pocket? ::) occasionally. I decided to put it aside as it will be more recognizable here rather than any other piece to 'feel' the size of the engine.
I have made a new crankshaft (more rigid), bearings, connection rods etc. and only then reached the Stephenson link...To be continued.

Hi there MCR,

This particular engine was designed and launched in production by myself as it was mentioned before to be a part of naval picket boat model propulsion system. The main idea of the design was to make the engine to be similar looking as much as possible to full-scale launch engine. It is typical marine engine with 12mm bore and 16 mm stroke. Totally made of stainless (nickel) steel and bronze.
Cheers,
