I have nearly completed my schooner

and was now wondering about appropriate flags etc. Is there a site that explains what they are for, where they go, and what they mean?

There are lots of books on signals ...From Professional seamans books that have to by international Law be carried on the bridge of a ship (International Code of signals) to small books and pamphlets and posturer's carried on yachts  the best thing is to Goggle signals (signal books and Flags for yachts)

Hi Lee, I got a copy of 'Browns signalling' off ebay recently and I think it is a first class refer little reference book. Cheers, Graham.

There is also a useful little book - Flags for ship modellers and marine artists, by Alec A Purves (Conway, 1950/1983).
