Personally i thought England showed massive signs of improvement in the second test. But he fact remains that Matt missed a sitter from straight out in front which would have seen the score finish 23- 21 to Australia which in my opinion means Australia lost the game rather then England winning it. Besides the NZ Maori then went on to show England how rugby is played when you actually have a front row. <*<
I just assume that sometimes my Northern Hemi friends watch different games to me. Since living in England their rugby team has never lost a game, it just happens that sometimes their team end the game with a lot less points then their opponents.. In the same way no English man ever talks about the "Ashes tour of Oz in '07" as though it never existed. {-) %)

Whenever Australia have a bad day on the sports fiend the rest of the world needs to look out because they ALWAYS come back harder. ALWAYS.

....and having beaten Australia on their last visit to Murrayfield, then Ireland and won both matches in the Argentina test series, the Scotland rugby team actually have something to be proud of.  Funny how the England rugby results seemed to take precedence in the sports news.   O0

Of course we know that our National football team is rubbish, you lot over the Border are just finding out that the same applies to Engerlund.  ;D

I predict that World Cup covereage on the TV and in the newspapers will now drop by 90% for which we can only be thankful.

Well at least there is one lucky aussie this week .  I do not know how Mark Webber walked away from
from that crash. The car must be a lotal writeoff - just like Englands defence.

We beat the Aussies again in todays ODI, I wish they had won then when I am at the Oval on Wednesday it will be game on again might be boring now. I'm not surprised the football team lost, over paid bunch of idiots who can not stand up more interested in money that playing football.

By the way do not bother trying to explain how good football is, I find it utterly boring.

As I said, Brian, we are only giving England a chance to save some face ahead of the Ashes series in Australia later this year  O0 {-)

Enjoy your moments of glory, Brian, you don't get too many of them  {-)

However much it pains me to admit it, I do believe that the current England team is a very good one, and will give Australia an extremely hard fight in the Ashes  O0

BTW, I don't believe you have beaten us at beach cricket  {-) {-)

Well Peter the England team did not turn up for this ODI, the bowling was poor and the fielding was terrible. When they got in to bat they gave away their wickets too cheaply, and did not seam to want to take risks in running between the stumps.  >>:-( >>:-( >>:-( >>:-( >>:-( >>:-( >>:-( >>:-(

The Aussie ODI team has had little cricket recently, and perhaps they are just starting to warm up. It was quite a convincing win  :-))
