...I guess the ice should be clear below the Falls now, and you can have the maiden voyage, well done Jerry.

It has been a very enjoyable build to follow and and the end result is stupendous.
Considering your line of work have you ever considered building a fireboat
many cities have them round the world and I should think it would not be above
your capabilities to have all the fire monitors fully working

Thinking about the next project, Any suggestions?

Yeah, a log cabin out in a corner of Old Iron's place, for me and the missus.

Got a barn, but the caboose would probably be more comfortable.

:-)  HELLO    i thought  your cmb was amazing    but words cannot give your hard word and very skilled labour enought credit !!
you have  told us what tools you use to solder with  but cold you let us have list of all the other tools you use  then at least i might have the right tools try and reach your very high standard of work    cos when i try to make small items out of brass  but they always look as rough as  badgers a**E
i,m still quite new to building model r/c boats and find i enjoy making them as much if not more than sailing them
i have a small but slowly increasing amount of tools in my little shed
regards Andy

Hi all ...& GG...you will remember the accolades many have offered re your many brass ~~~~ metal components & the detail skills you have displayed in this build....... :-)) & an inspiration to all other model builders

To a new Mayhem member...simply looking at the completed vessel photographs does not portray the detail beneath that drab white paintwork   <:(

I just don't know how the Mayhem WEB site could highlight the need to go backwards in the build thread, apart from you offering your build thread to the Mayhem Master Class Folder  O0 ....Derek

OK.....I see the note from Martin..... "I agree, a masterpiece and it's nearly there - "Entries in this section will generally deal with complete build projects only"

So maybe in a few weeks GG? .........

All right, when she gets her first outing in her final colours.
.... what do the ship yards call it when they hand a ship over to her new owners?
       SEA TRAILS! That's it!!!!
Sorry, I seem to be typing out loud... sun stroke I think!

Geaoge;
1. When are next sea trials?
2. Do you want us to tidy up the tread for before we move it to the Master Class section?

The detail you have here is fantastic GGeorge, but surely crewmembers were proactive in their keeping a permanent 5 o clock shadow? That guy looks altogether too Bond vilain, perhaps that's what you wanted... %)

The poor boy has been working himself to a frazzle trying to get the TID finished for the Great Lakes Model Boat Association meet this past weekend. He got his boat on the table and collapsed.
