black park model boat club open day and regatta

 sunday 5th sept 10am- 5pm ish - at black park country park, off the A412 near slough- on the buckinghamshire and berkshire borders

( very close to m25/ m40 interchange)

situated in a beatifully wooded country park located adjacent to the world famous pinewood studios- country walks, childrens play area,  cafe, toilets, 'go ape' airial rope climb park- loads to do for a family day out !!!!

free entry to  model show-  raffle and collections with all proceeds going to the thames valey air ambulance

cafe and toilets and facilities for the disabled

ample parking very close by ( pay and disaply at £2-50 a day )

THEY WILL FOLLOW.....

 thanks to all those who attended, ( especially the luton boys and girls and the  hanwell crew ) the  weather tried to spoil the day but to little avail, a good day appeared to be had by all !

the air ambulance  raised funds as did the RNLI-  so all good really !

I took my camera along to this excellent event. There were some truly magnificent boats and lots of enthusiastic club members and public to enjoy the spectacle. This really is a fantastic venue for model boats.
I decided to concentrate this year on the PEOPLE with their boats.
