Model slipway "Shamrock" build
« on: July 04, 2010, 10:58:04 am »

Hi all

Some of you may have seen my first post in the newbies section in which i said i was building Shamrock as my first kit. Well, as promised here is my build log. By doing this i hope it will encourage me to get it done in a reasonable amount of time! :}. Once i work out how to put pictures on i will start the log properly.
What i can say for the kit, so far, is that its well made and seeing as its intended for a beginner the instructions are easy to follow. I would say, and to the credit of model slipway who also say, its not for the absolute beginner in terms of some "interpretation" is needed on part of the modeler to work out how things go together. However anyone with any practical skill should be fine as the insrutions come with clear diagrams plus text and i know model slipway will help with anything as well.
I will post pics soon of my progress and try to keep it up to date :-).
