Golden Oldies
« on: July 05, 2010, 01:08:09 pm »

Since we smashed the Aerokits plan saga to bits, Anyone knows who is the custodian of the "Yeoman" range of boat plans? These kits seem to have been marketed mainly from A.A.Hales, similarly who has the "Veron" boat plans? I know the late Phil Smith marketed the Aircraft plans he designed probably to be carried on by his family, but never saw a listing for the boat plans.

  Any suggestions??

Sounds like a bit of research is needed. I wonder if this is the kind of thing that Model Boats magazine would be interested in chasing up...?

Doubt it, no profit in it for MHS. Strange how the "Vintage" Aircraft designs are easily available but the boaties close ranks.

Read somewhere that Phil was selling copies of the Veron boat designs before his sad demise so there may be a chance if his family carry on the sales.
