I'm sorry to hear that PMK, we have been very lucky, my wife was diagnosed with bowel cancer 3 years ago, but fortunately it was caught in a very early stage. It was remarkable work by the doctor who noticed a slight change in a blood test and suggested a colonoscopy, which showed the disease. She had a small section of bowel removed, and there was no sign of cancer anywhere else. She now has regular check ups, and there has been no problem ever since. As I said we were extremely lucky.

Just a comment, thanks for the congrats, but remember, when your Good wife is having her check, make sure you have one as well! Prostate Cancer supprised me 2 years ago, it had spread, but it seemed as though they had got it all, with the attendant, handicaps, but the PSA levels are climbing again so it seems I have more fun ahead. A blood test only takes 5 minutes, Do It!!
