I am seeking a copy of Brian King's book "Modelling Late Victorian Battleships". If anyone has a copy they are willing to sell, please let me know.

As a new member I just noticed this posting. My copy came direct from the publishers Pier Books by mail order at a very reasonable price. I suggest you contact them. My model of 'Mars' was heavily influenced by this book.

A fine looking model you have there  O0

When did that colour scheme change to the normal battleship grey?

All grey paintwork was introduced with the Duncan class battleships. The name ship commissioned in 1903.

Colour change was due to change of attitude from 'showing the flag around the Empire' to Jack Fishers' preparation for European war in the North Sea.
