POTTERIES MODEL BOAT CLUB will be holding their Navy Day on Sunday August 1st 2010

The event this year is back at our home at Westport Lake, near Stoke-on-Trent, post Code ST6 4RZ. Nearest motorway connections are M6 jct 15 from south, M6 jct 16 if coming from the north. Their is ample parking and extra space is being made available for us on the day, but the lake is in a public park and can get busy at times. There is a visitors centre near to where we will be sailing and is by the carpark, with a cafe for drinks and refreshments. Toilets are also located in the visitors centre. There is easy access to the lakeside and the visitors centre for anyone in wheelchair etc.(I'm currently in plaster from the knee down with bust leg and have no problems getting about in a wheelchair.) Feel free to contact the cub via the link above with any questions, I may be able to answer but will be away this weekend and next weekend. Hope to see plenty down there, Dave.
