theres been nothing on the news about this and as its on my patch I  thought I'd post.
seems the cargo loading conveyor caught fire and spread to accom and engine room spaces
bit of a mess,been several explosions . salvage and coastguard tugs in attendance.As far as Im aware
the salvage boys havent been able to get to the engine spaces yet. 1 crew member taken to hospital (not serious)
the remoteness of the quarry (no road access) means fire brigade had to be air lifted in

Shes been towed off the berth and is now lying between maiden island and lismore light
waiting to be towed away

yes it rotterdam but apparently shes to be broken up according to those in the know, the engine room an accomidation were completely gutted in  the fire and consequent explosions
