Anyone know of problems with Irvine 46 Conn Rods?
Two outings and two rods broken. >:-o Should not be lack of oil in the fuel since it was Model Technics SUPERGLO 10 and two totally different batches. The rod went on second start of the day and before I could get the hatch clipped down. Idle revs were NOT excessive.
OK, so it was was a second hand engine (Caveat Emptor) but with little use. <*<
Comments appreciated.

I used an Irvine 46 for many years in aircraft without any trouble, but it was one of the early models.
