You may be interested to know this vessel is no more. I work with a shipwright from Port de grave and he knows the vessel. He said it sank a short while back, after an engine room fire.

Yeah. You're right. It is a bit choppy. A bit breezy too judging by the aerobatics of the gull in photo 9.

Pity the boat was lost, she looks quite a smart vessel. Any word on the crew?

We get knocked off when waves get above 18"- makes you thnk doesn't it! Although if they had an 18" freeboard I'm sure they wouldn't too!

Shame about the boat- looked very capable- a real batten down the hatches and attack whatever comes your way vessel- the best kind.

Seriously don't think the skipper will like anyone saying his boat has sunk after a fire when she's only 2 years old and still fishing with her sistership ocean Harvest PD198. The boat in the photo is the Harvester PD98 and the photos were taken by the skipper of the Ocean Harvest. Both boats work as a pair team and fish very successfully out of Peterhead.

The phrase 'Brick Toilet' springs to mind.

Have a wee look at www.lunarfreezing.co.uk. There are some excellent pictures in the "fishing" section of the website - these are ships that look like ships.
I'm quite sure Martin put the pictures up in good faith, but it would be interesting to know who is spreading such misinformation.
Best Wishes
