Wonderful model! I would love to build one of those in the future. My Grandfather served on HMS Haydon during WWII a Hunt 2..

Hi AJ, what aout the type 4 as well - everybody forgets Brecon and Brissenden built by Thornycrofts
with a totally different hull type to all the rest - would make a good project

Hi AJ, I was looking at some old photgraphs this evening, you can see the development from
Brecon right the way to the hull of the corvettes and the the type 21s build by V.T. in the
60s, 70s and 80s.  They always seem to have a style different to other shipbuilders in
Britian,

I have to admit I like the vosper ships, they have built some great designs. Even the new ships that they have produced. FAb

Looks like he was on a batch 3 hunt, as she has the racked funnel and torpedo tubes. Plus a few other small changes from the other classses.

I am working on this batch of hunt at the moment.

My bad, HMS Haydon was indeed a Hunt 3. I look forward to seeing more of your work, feel free to post up as many pictures as you like! :-))
