I'll shortly be purchasing a Robbe Atlantis yacht for my Autumn/Winter project and I'm going to give her a planked deck, and hopefully make it look something special.

I've heard that the wood decking kit from Robbe is of questionable quality and at a cost of nearly £100 I'm having a look around for possible alternatives.

Could someone advise me please whether the quality and cost of the Robbe product is worthwhile and if not point me in the right direction?

This build blog (back to front in time) is my Atlantis but NOT built by me, Steve put a very nice wood deck on with timber from Modelling timbers, unfortunately they don't now sell timber but lots of other good items. Unfortunately Atlantis is just as I bought her, circumstances stop me from finishing her, hopefully soon.
