Nylon Gears

Been out today with a tug after fitting new nylon gears, But they are very noisy anybody got any idea's on how to reduce the noise. >>:-(

Silicon grease or earplugs.

Add silicon grease will reduce but check the gear meshing.... old rule used to be you should be able to pull a sheet of paper through the gears freely if the gears are meshed correctly. if there tiny gears 5mm in diameter and smaller check the meshing with a cigarette paper much thinner for a smaller gear
