 Hi Prophet.
                     try some of these.

                   FULL SIZE RANGER HULL
Plans are available from John Hanks. This is for the HULL ONLY. These were made from the original Ranger plans themselves and consequently do not include the 2" keel extension. Since this was not on the original boat, no plans for this exist and it is up to the individual builder to fair in the extension. Also, there are no written instructions at this time. This is for the PLAN SHEET and includes shipping:
price: $55.00 Contact John Hanks John4JBoats@NPGCable.com

1:16 scale line drawings of Ranger's hull and deck may be obtained from:

Hi,
I too am a J-class fan.
It is my ambition to build a seven foot ranger when time permits.
I got some plans from the Museum at Mystic Seaport.
I have put all the hullpoints into an excel spreadsheet.
Then I created the surface on Catia at work. Unfortunately some of the points were out, so the surface isn't true.
If there is someone out there can smooth out the surface, I can post the spreadsheet.

thx
Howard

Is this something that can be done in Delftship? Free CAD software.

I think it needs a mathematician or something
I use Catia at work, which is the best CAD available.
Unfortunately, I don't normally work in surfaces, so it's a bit out of my league.
