Australia (Queensland) leads fight on obesity.
In a World first to combat the Nations rising obesity levels as advised in a recent WHO (World Health Organisation) report the Queensland government in partnership with the Federal Gillard Government’s Health Initiative has implemented the following free get fit health program.
Step 1. Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room at each side.
Step 2. With a 5 kg potato sack in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides and hold them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute and then relax.
Step 3. Repeat step 2 each day, you’ll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer.
Step 4. After a couple of weeks; move up to 10 kg potato sacks.
Step 5. Then try 25 kg potato sacks and then eventually try to get to where you can lift a 50 kg potato sack in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute. (I’m at this level.)
Step 6. After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each sack.
WHO advises National Benefits are,
1. Manufacturing industry; increased potato sack production.
2. Agriculture; more potato planting and crops
3. Population; Fitter meaner Aussies to win more games, cricket etc.
