Battleship Bismarck - 1:100
« on: August 06, 2010, 07:56:51 PM »

Hello friends! It is nice to see you again in my next relation. As you see below, this time I decided to get a ship-legend on my desk - german II WW battleship Bismarck (scale 1:100 R/C a full scratch polystyrene made). In my opinion it is boring to write a lot so I'm going to concentrate on photos. Have a nice watch!

Wow! That's some seriously impressive scratchbuilding work  :-))  Is the anti-slip texturing on the deck made up from individual bits of styrene rod/strip?  :o
Styrene plastic is also my favourite material for modelling non-wood parts of ship models, though I don't have quite your level of skill!

Will you be building the hull from scratch (if so, what material/technique) or using a pre-made moulding?

Tomasz,

That's outstanding craftsmanship O0

I think this build should be under the Masterclass heading.

Looking forward to the rest of the build.

Usually I don't follow any posts in the warship category, but this one is simply outstanding.

I just started my first build on the forum and after following this thread I know I'm down in the Blue square league.
This build of tomasz is definitely premier league

Geoff

But I do hope to get promoted as the build really gets underway- well make the playoffs anyway.
