The workmanship on the Arado puts some kitmakers to shame,  if i live to be 200years old i couldn't reach your level,    <:(
Hope you keep building  as i for one would love to see her in her full glory. :-))

These pipes are outlet exhusts for the diesel engines I belive.

Making my 1/200 Bismarck as I am, and the detail involved in THAT, I am amazed at the level of detail on this model!

Quite an assortment of tank vents such as fuel & lube oil etc. as well as things such as boiler safety valve vents, there were twelve boilers as well as eight 500w diesel generators which probably vented outside the main funnel as well as possibly crank case vents.

I feel the same - looking at Tomasz build post my build log of Brave Borderer seems a total novice job (and it really is)- I'll keep building BB but no more posting. <:(

Come on Tomasz, tell us how you do it - I will NEVER reach your standards but I can improve my current and future builds with your advice and practical knowledge. :-)) :-)) :-))

In my opinion it is boring to write a lot so I'm going to concentrate on photos. Have a nice watch!

Tomasz,
This is the only mistake you have made with your post. Myself and others would agree that you writing some stuff would be NOT BORING at all. So please write some stuff and explain HOW YOU DO IT...

Dear Tomasz,

I want to add my voice to the requests for more information please. Your work is outstanding and it would be a real help for just a little more detail on how you do it. I'm sure it would help us all achieve more or better, and for a lot of us, that is why we model.

many thanks,
Chris

Hello Friends! Sorry but the main problem is the fact that I'm not able to explain you everything due to lack of my english language knowledge. That is why I decided only to put photos and I feel sorry for that. But I hope that it's not a huge problem for you. Greetings Tomasz

That is some seriously impressive workmanship! On my first glance at the photos of the painted funnel, I genuinely thought it was a 3D rendering rather than an actual part.
(as an aircraft as well as ship/boat modeller, I really like the Arados too, they're as good as most 1/48 models I've seen!)

Hello Admirals! On sunday I managed to paint funnel decks and today other details but it's not the end of my "paintbrush funnel story" There is a need to correct a little colours in a few places and of course what is the most important to paint characteristic black and white strips. The main grey colour is definitive. All painted by Revell enamels. Greetings!
