I had a Zoom 2 with a Mega motors 20/22/2, Solid shaft 5in out from the transom , alloy rudder with cooling inlet 60amp amp e.s.c on lipo 3s. Fast  but a tad narrow rolled easy if you over cook it All in all a good cheap (ish) boat :-)) If you Email him he will send a video of one running + a pic of the layout

He has a Web site... where he asks for people to contact him... but no email or contact no...There are suggested layouts for the Zoom 2 on the web site and Zoom video on youtube..
Maybe you can use the contact option on Fleabay

Does it selfright it's self

Cheap boat, stepped 4 for speed, it will selfright if balanced to do so.
Ok for sports use but not for racing ( I could be wrong ), have you had a look at Astec's shop.

Hi Andy I have looked at Astec but theres a big difference in price between Astecs price and DC mouldings on fleabay.

I only want a small cheap hull to replace my Joysway which has developing some cracks around the hull opening..So sports use only. I can't really work out which would be best for my purpose, out Zoom 1&2

Zoom 1 (No step) seems to be better in a chop. Zoom 2 ( Steped) Is a bit quicker on flat water  :-)) As it rides on more air.
