7 bright ones so far - two from the wrong direction.

My wife and I are hoping the sky clears up for us to watch it.
Best one we have ever seen was the Leonid in I think 2001, nearly got whiplash trying to see it all.

Typical. Full cloud cover over Whitley Bay after a nice sunny day.
But any deep sea Bridge Watchkeeper (especially in tropical climes) would probably see dozens of the things during every night watch.
Familiarity never bred contempt, always a delight to watch. BY.
