Titan paddler
« on: August 14, 2010, 06:35:51 pm »

The maiden voyage today (at Largs) of my Veron Titan tug now in about its fourth incarnation, as a paddle tug (of sorts). Thanks to FLJ and the Giant Cod. Now for a wheelhouse roof and mast, and maybe funnel stays. She might even take a smoke maker! Now there's a thought.

Glad you like her! 20.5". Driven by a 6v electric screwdriver with Meccano 1:1 bevels, ACTion condor 5 + ACTtion BEC and small 6V SLA. She does look rather sweet.

Please allow for the fact that the hull was built over 40 years ago, and has had the asbestos sheet stripped out of the engine/boiler room - I dunno what I stuck it with but it obviously worked!.
