Its deffinalty not a moden day kit. im not sure so i might get shot for this... but i think its a custom build 'free style'

but there are similaritys to it. like Dumas 'city jersey'

but i think by the look of the hull its based on mountfleet models 'cruiser'

 im probably wrong on both but thats how it looks to me, it may be a kit of the past thats no longer availible, or built from a plan. im sure one of the tug boys here will be able to give you the answer yoru looking for  {:-{

 Hi Nick.
looking at the style of the superstructure is definately an american tug.

                                     cheers Frank

Whats the length?
If it's around 800 mm it could have started out as a Krick Lucky
Or not!

Have you tried searching for Krick Schlepper?

the lucky does look similar. However, as others have said. The superstructure does looks scratch built.

This is starting to annoy me now!
I've seen this model before and remember it because of the pronounced ... peak? Visor? shade? over the the wheelhouse
windows and the very deep.... return? casing? bulwark? over the stern.

i wish I knew about ships 'n stuff!  :embarrassed:

Hi.
wonder if it could be one of the Moran tugs, or maybe one of these as they  all have   the pronounced ... peak? Visor? shade?
        over the the wheelhouse

It's the hull shape that intrigues me.
The superstructure can be changed or modified to personal whim, hulls are usually much more difficult (or bother) to change.

I haven't managed to track that hull down yet but I have stumbled across a good link for all the tuggers out there.
