I have just read in MMI this month that to get this set to Servo Reverse, one needs to do it with everything switched off, so the TX powers up in the new mode. There is nothing in the Instructions to tell you that. I assumed that my Throttle reverse was faulty and switched from Mode1 to Mode 2 to solve the problem. Thanks to MMI, I am now much wiser!

you are quite correct the transmitter has to be turned of to set the servo reverse. you only have to do that for the throttle channel

It is a failsafe for aeroplanes & helicopters so the channel cannot be changed by accident while the craft is in flight.

you can switch the other channels with the transmitter on

Sorry nordsee,

I have just re-read the instruction manual and it states, NOTE: Both the transmitter and
receiver must be switched off before changing throttle reverse function.
