Anyone recommend some quality adhesives for building ie.plastic weld,cyanos,etc

I use '5star' find them on e bay, excellent range, pay after youve received the product. Super glue does not come unstuck in water. Obviously I have nought to gain from this recommmendation.

PS Store cyanos in fridge, it keeps them for months!!

Zap a Gap a Goo sticks anything to anything.



Z-Poxy epoxy resin seal prop shafts and sticks decks to hulls.



Plastic Weld for ABS, Plasticard, plastic.,



Zap a Gap cyano sticks metals to plastic etc.

PS Store cyanos in fridge, it keeps them for months!!

Okay before opening but once opened, don't put them back in the fridge as this promotes condensation inside the bottle which will make the cyano go off quicker.

Still regularly using the same bottles of various makes of cyano from the fridge which are now over 3years old, the necks and nozzle's in a bit of a mess but still sticks like s--t to a blanket.

              But you never know maybe one day (!)

Does anyone still use Aerolite?

Two part urea formaldehyde glue
Tin of powder to be mixed with water to a cream painted on one surface
and acid hardener painted on the other
We used it back in the fifties for building the frames for our Percy Blandford Kayaks
and the first boat kit I built at the age of 15 a Bell Woodworking 1:1 scale GP14 sailing dinghy
Aerolite must have been cutting edge technology  we were using it alongside a bubbling gas gluepot
in the workshop!

Even kept in the fridge, Cyanos do loose their max gripping power and they are water soluble, over time.
