unfortunatly the boat shown looks like miss daisy , which is in fact an ex mod spear , thats been restored , it now races under the number 747 !

unfortunately the boat shown looks like miss daisy , which is in fact an ex mod spear , thats been restored , it now races under the number 747 !

Not sure why "unfortunately"  %)

She has a website (I found) with more nice pics = http://team747.eryr.net/the-boat

And this site indicates she is for sale   :o = http://www.fairey-boat-sales.com/brokerage.php?doc=34

Oh and I found this nice pic of her in "747" guise (click on the pic for full size)

hence shes not a swordsman , she is in fact the ex fairey spear thats recently been converted , she now wears the race numbers 747 , shes called miss daisey . the conversion / restoration was carried out in portsmouth , shes now moored in chichester and is for sale !  i too have some pics of her as she was competeong in this years cowes to torquay powerboat race , along with several huntsman 28 s,  31 s , and some other classic powerboats !

Ah - Thanks for the info triumphjon  :-))

(If a moderator reads this, any chance we can get the first post "Subject" line edited to read Spear instead of Swordsman, just for the sake of accuracy)

Regards to all
