New/old boat transporter purchased
« on: September 12, 2010, 06:15:16 am »

I am getting a Citroen Berlingo tommorow :-) as a new boat transport/ work hack, its a 2002 model, as they are a common vehicle in the UK I was wondering about your thoughts and experiences with them.
I'm considering importing from the UK parts as they seem to be cheaper, A front cut with a 1.6 Hdi would be nice :} but I have no idea how much that would cost.

Hi Nick

I have one and it is a geat vehicle I transport a lot of boats and railways to exhibitions and it is amazing what you can get in,

Note back is 4ft deep 5 diagonal more if you raize the things a bit.

Tip get some anti slip sheeting and nothing moves.

Very comfortable to drive and quite small to park

http://www.gsfcarparts.com/

A good place to go for spares and their international postage is very reasonable
I have used them for parts for my in laws renaults whilst here in Finland and also for parts for my old BMW and Mercedes when I lived in the UK
