Take it this is not a Vespa or Lambretta you are talking about.

A friend of mine,s father, who has just turned 90,and who i might add smokes 10/20 a day and has done since he was 18,recently gave up his car and opted for a 4 wheel scooter its 24v and has a top speed of 8mph and a range of 30 miles it has front /rear lights and a shopping basket on the front,Although could have got one through the Motability scheme,he opted for buying one privately, and Rob his son got one on ebay, that was like new,..new cost 2300 Rob paid 700,

I have had a TGA Breeze 4 scooter for the past three years and found it to be a perfect machine, I am a paraplegic. Buy quality not necessarily the cheapest - like most things in life.

I hired a Nero 8 for a while after my accident to get around town.

Great little thing!

I didnt buy one though, I hired one for a massive 1 a day for about 6 months.

Was that a one off special price Dan?
Hardly worth buying one at that hire rate
After two years when the batteries get a bit tired
Swap it!

By the way could it get up the Khyber?
