I have almost finished a mild conversion of the Hobby Southampton to a Russian style tug,of the Soviet era. Just a bit of re-painting with a few added bits here and there. The badge on the bridge front came from a Russian aircrewmans hat in the 70's, ( you don't want to know how I came by it.. ). The crew are all 1/35th scale German figures, mainly Dragon. The pictures were taken on Yeovil Model Warships lake last Sunday......Smudge

Thanks Danny, It's in bits again, I am trying to get a bigger battery in her, that may bring her down a bit moreski....das vedannia....Smudgeski..

very nice looking tug, have you uprated the electrics at all? Ive installed an action p94 with a 3600mah battery pack located under the stearn hatch in my southampton, with a few minor bits and pieces in the wheelhouse
