Hobbies GRP Triune Hull
« on: August 27, 2010, 05:26:54 pm »

Isn't it just typical ! I wanted to order one of these hulls, only to be told they have being discontinued !!
Would anyone have one surplus to requirements ?
On the other hand, would anyone know of a suitable hull; I'm planning on building a Coaster along the same lines as the Model Slipway 4 Hatch Coaster ?
                      Thanks      John

Why not contact Lawrie / Jackie ( Model Slipway) and seee if they will sell the hull seperately?  now't to lose. Have to admit as a a newbie though I'm not sure of where the moral / etiquette  line is drawn.

Tony, I had thought about that, but with Christmas on the distant horizon(and with some serious crawling to the wife !), I feel it will be easier to just buy the complete kit.
I'm always very envious of you guys who seem to purchase one model after another; are you all single and loaded, or do you just have very understanding wive's !!

Here's what I did with my hull (a second bought at a show in Norwich). Approx 1:48 version of Brockley Combe a early 20th century steamer.
