Painting and finishing lamp
« on: January 30, 2007, 12:24:11 am »

Use a 500w floodlight indoors for painting and finishing expecially after dark.

They only cost a few bob now. Available from local hardware stores and come in a nice bright yellow paint finish.

Lots of light to see them imperfections. :(

Beware of the sort of lamps used if mixing paint.  I once mixed some orange paint under flourescent light and it wasnt until I got outside in the daylight that I noticed that it was actually pink  :o

I now use daylight lamps. Cost a bit more than ordinary tungsten lamps but give out a much better matched light. :)
