hi there Garison

Lovely model of the RAF rescue boat.  Could you tell us what plans did you use to built it from.   Was it Pritchards plans and how did you make the hull and gun turretts?

love that smoke, are you using photoshop?

Yup - Photoshop on Adobe CS4.

It's a stunning corvette model. As is the rescue launch. I think the only thing giving that photo away is the lens height of the photographer - if it had been "head-height" then the picture would have been (more) perfect.  :-))

I do try to get down in the water, as can be seen by the lower flower class pic's. But i do manage to frequently dunk my Nikon D70 . But the old things built like a tank. It's been dropped, kicked and buried in mud on our shore and then put under the shower! But it still knocks out great photies :-))

Stunning, both the boats and the photos, (I felt bad about calling them boats as one at least should be called a ship)

When I looked at the first pic my eyes were so drawn to the boat I just did not notice the 1:1 humans in the back ground.

It was only when I read some of the posts I realised it was a model, not a pic posted for detail of the real thing.

Model making to aspire to.

Amazing photos, especially the corvette.

I am so impressed with the weathering, it looks absolutly convincing.

Well done Garston!!!
